An Omron software engineer is able to configure all the Omron range of control equipment to produce a working solution i.e. PLC, HMI or SCADA, drives, sensors and the control networks Controller Link, SYSMAC Link, CompoNet and Ethernet.

Omron PLC programmer (Control know-how)
A Omron PLC programmer can write PLC code using CX programmer and Syswin.

Omron Syswin programmer
Syswin contains two editors for programming in Ladder and Statement List.

Omron CX Programmer and Omron CX One programmer
CX Programmer is compliant with IEC 61131 and has a range of programming language editors; Structured Text(ST), Ladder (LD), Sequential Function Chart (SFC)and Function Block Diagram (FBD).

The programmer also has knowledge of how to control equipment such as motors, valves and electrical solenoids together with an understanding of how to read analogue values and interpret digital signals.

Omron PLC engineer (Hardware expert)
A Omron PLC engineer may design and specify all the PLC hardware required to interface to the equipment under control.

Omron CS1 series PLC programmers
The CS1 series has the largest I/O capacity (Up to 5000) and the broadest range of special functions. Its programs can control whole automation areas. It is backwards compatible with C200H series. Its Redundant PLCs and specialised loop control are ideal for the process industry.

CJ2

 Omron CJ1/CJ2 PLC programmers
The CJ series uses a modular design allowing highly flexible configuration options. Networking is well supported, all the major control networks are available. Up to 2560 I/O may be used.

CP1

Omron CPM / CP1 PLC programmers
The CPM and CP1 series have a very small footprint, ideal where control panel space is at a premium. It is a good solution for applications where the I/O (Up to 320) is relatively low.
